Heather Briglio
President
Heather Briglio joined Cove in 2009 and became President in 2014. She has extensive experience in the mortgage lending industry, beginning her career in 1978. Over that time, Heather has gained considerable knowledge in both prime and subprime lending.
A licensed mortgage broker in British Columbia since 2006, with a previous license in Ontario, Heather has held management positions for several national mortgage, trust, and financial services corporations.
Anna Solnickova, BBA, CPA, CGA, RI, GPC.D
Executive Officer
Anna Solnickova joined Cove as Executive Officer in January 2025. She is a seasoned finance and governance executive with 15+ years of experience in BC’s mortgage and real estate sectors. She began her career with a BC-based MIC manager in 2010 and over her 13-year tenure with that firm oversaw all financial, accounting, capital raising, banking and investor relations, and administrative operations. As a licensed dealing representative, Anna handles all investment related matters for Cove’s MIC.
Anna is deeply passionate about governance and bringing her vast expertise to organizations that align with her core values of integrity, transparency and kindness. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors of CMIC Mortgage Investment Corp, Land Title and Survey Authority of BC, BC MIC Managers Association, Terry Fox Foundation, and is an Advisory Board Member of the Canadian Book Club Awards.
She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (BBA) from Douglas College, an RI designation from the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia, a GPC.D designation from Governance Professionals of Canada, and a Certificate of Specialization in Leadership and Management from Harvard Business School Online.
Carly Erickson
Underwriter, Broker
Carly joined the Cove team in 2009. She manages all the new deal submissions from application to completion and everything in between!
In recent years, she has become one of Cove’s primary underwriters. Due to her extensive experience in this role, she is also part of the lending committee for CMIC – primarily vetting the covenant of the deal.
Ming Chung
Bookkeeper
Ming is Cove’s bookkeeper handling all the accounting for Cove, CMIC, and various other internal lending companies. Contact Ming if you need assistance with a mortgage payout or funding.
